In a very significant statement on her website explaining their New Green Deal, one of (D) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s frequently asked questions sheds some serious light on both her and her parties economic positions and what this deal is all about.
“Economic security” for everyone “unwilling to work.” Yes you read that correctly, Ocasio Cortez and some other progressive Democrats want Economic security” for everyone unable and “unwilling to work.”

CNBC also noted the special language for those not interested in working.
The overview notes that the Green New Deal aims to provide “economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work.”
While the resolution patterns itself after President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal, which was aimed at rescuing the country from the Great Depression, the FDR plan did not include a proviso for those willingly idle.
Many weighed in via Twitter, CJ Pearson suggested “It is not the role of government, nor the responsibility of contributing members of society, to provide for the lazy.”

Matt Walsh noted the Ocasio Cortez’s new deal would remove any incentive for people to work.
So @AOC wants to provide a living wage to everyone who is "unwilling to work," thereby removing any incentive to work. She also wants a massive railway system built. Who exactly is going to build it? Why would anyone go build a railroad if they can sit at home and get paid?
