Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made some demonstrably false statements in the past. Let’s face it, it is her false statements that keep her in the news cycle. However, her latest gaffe proves to be her most sickening one yet.
Yesterday on Twitter, AOC claimed that Justice Kavanaugh was “credibly accused” of sexual misconduct after the NYtimes published a false story about a new accusation against Justice Kavanaugh.
This was almost a year ago.
It is unsurprising that Kavanaugh, credibly accused of sexual assault, would lie under oath to secure a Supreme Court seat.
Because sexual assault isn’t a crime of passion – it’s about the abuse of power.

AOC was referring to all of the testimonies against Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing before the Senate. All the stories that came up were either debunked of couldn’t be proven. This lead to the inevitable confirmation of Kavanaugh as a U’S. Supreme Court Justice.
However, the new debunked story published by the NYTimes is what triggered the tweet by AOC.
So what about the “new” allegations against Justice Kavanaugh?
If you opened Twitter on Sunday morning, you were likely greeted with the “bombshell headline” of the top trending news story: “NYT reporters’ book details new sexual assault allegation against Brett Kavanaugh.”
The allegation Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly write in a New York Times story adapted from their forthcoming anti-Kavanaugh book, is this: “We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student.” [RELATED: Colin Kaepernick’s Unhinged Nike Commercial Wins an Emmy Award]
Wait a second. Who did what to whom? Kavanaugh’s “friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student”?
The NYTimes retracted this story and another Kavanaugh story last year as well.

Can someone explain the logistics of the allegation here? Was Kavanaugh allegedly walking around naked when his friends pushed him into the female student? Didn’t anyone else notice that Kavanaugh was allegedly walking around naked? If so, where are all the witnesses?
The NYTimes buried the lead for an entire 24-hours before adding in in a later correction to the article. The Times later added that the “victim” in question didn’t recall the incident ever taking place ad didn’t know what Max Stier was even talking about.
The NYTimes received severe backlash over their part in the story. Yet, they still haven’t learned that they can’t just say whatever they want and get away with it anymore.
The NYTimes has always been known as “The Paper of Record.” What does this latest fake news story show us about the Times? Can they actually be called “THE PAPER OF RECORD” now that their record is so demonstrably false?
They can write any lie they want and then go back when no one is looking and change the words around any time they want. However, real Americans aren’t buying “snake oil they’re selling anymore.
