New Video evidence has emerged in the Jussie Smollett attack claim that casts serious doubts on it’s validity.
Smollett claimed that he was attacked by two men who tied a noose around his neck and said “this is Maga country.” He also claimed his ribs were broken as a result of the assault.
The Empire actor claimed this happened in Chicago at around 2 a.m. with sub zero temperatures in a NOW DELETED Instagram post.
As noted by The Federalist, After combing hundreds of hours of video the police have found no evidence of any attack and now Fox 32 reporter Rafer Weigel has had more updates to the story that add to the skepticism.
“Chicago PD says they have not yet seen any medical records so far citing a broken rib,” he said on Friday.

Sources also dropped this tidbit:
“#ChicagoPolice source tells @fox32news that #Jussie Smollett was seen on surveillance still holding his #Subway sandwich when he returned to the building after the alleged attack,” he said.

The Paper noted significant skepticism of the report with the latest discoveries:
After he was attacked, a noose around his neck and hit with bleach he casually walks into his building still holding his Subway sandwich?
Smollett has stood by his story so far, but is yet to comment on the recent evidence.
“Let me start by saying that I’m OK. My body is strong but my soul is stronger. More importantly I want to say thank you,” he said.
“The outpouring of love and support from my village has meant more than I will ever be able to truly put into words,” Smollett said.
“I am working with authorities and have been 100 percent factual and consistent on every level,” the actor said.
With the recent additional footage and police reports it will be interesting to see if Smollett changes his story.
