Former KKK grand wizard David Duke has backed anti-Semite (D) Ilhan Omar’s recent comments that have stirred very significant controversy over the last 24 hours.
As reported by Breitbart, Former KKK leader David Duke has backed Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN)’s antisemitic statements Sunday that the U.S. Congress supports Israel because its members had been paid to do so.
Duke Tweeted, So, let us get this straight. It is “Anti-Semitism” to point out that the most powerful political moneybags in American politics are Zionists who put another nation’s interest (israel’s) over that of America ??????

In a tweet Sunday, Omar labeled the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as the purchaser of U.S. foreign policy.

Omar tweeted: in 2012, “Israel has hypnotized the world.”
Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza #Palestine #Israel

Also noted by Breitbart, Omar is openly anti-Zionist, opposing Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.
Duke regularly frames American politics — particularly its foreign policy towards Israel and the broader Middle East and North Africa — as procured by Jewish interests at the expense of America’s national interest.

Several top level Democrats commented on Omar’s disturbing remarks.
In a released statement, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) described Omar’s tweets as “deeply disturbing.”

In a statement released Monday, Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) — chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs where Omar holds a seat, linked Omar’s comments to antisemitism.

Remembering the relentless attacks on Trump for an apparent show of support by Duke, even though Trump disavowed any endorsement multiple times, it will be interesting to see how the media treats Duke’s support of Omar and if they react in the same way.
