An article that has recently surfaced from Politico has many talking about Joe Biden’s ability to lead the country.
Osama bin Laden plotted to kill President Barack Obama and Gen. David Petraeus, according to a Politico report from 2012.
The plan to target Obama and Petraeus was described in a document U.S. forces found in bin Laden’s compound after he was killed, The Washington Post reported. In his directive, bin Laden wrote that he hoped to have a terrorist attack their aircraft. Killing Obama, bin Laden wrote, would mean the “totally unprepared” Vice President Joe Biden would become president.
“The reason for concentrating on them is that Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make Biden take over the presidency,” bin Laden wrote to his top lieutenant Atiya Abd al-Rahman. “… Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the U.S. into a crisis. As for Petraeus, he is the man of the hour … and killing him would alter the war’s path.”
The al-Qaeda head wanted Pakistani terrorist Ilyas Kashmiri — who was killed in a drone attack a month after bin Laden died — to carry out his plot, the Post reported.
Documents were unsealed showing Bin Laden plotted to assassinate President Obama to throw the U.S. into a crisis and make Joe Biden President.
Bin Laden noted that Biden is "totally unprepared" for the role.
Not even Osama Bin Laden thought Joe Biden could handle the job.
