Former FBI Director took to the stage to speak at Politico in Nashville, TN this weekend. In a wide-ranging interview, Comey spoke about all sorts of subjects related to the goings-on in the Trump Administration.
On reports that the Justice Department’s investigation into the Russian probe has turned into a criminal investigation, Comey advised Attorney General Bill Barr to take the information and “don’t drip it out, don’t leak it out, give it out.”
He also spoke about his newfound notoriety since the 2016 election. He quipped that he is now an “unemployed B-list celebrity”. He was also asked what he would do if President Trump was reelected to which Comey answered, “From my new home in New Zealand, I still will believe in America.”
Comey says he’s leaving America if Trump wins again. I can’t think of a better reason to elect Trump in 2020!!! https://t.co/mIQv8o2zpI
