No Deal In Sight To End Government Shutdown [Video]

According to Politico, there seems to be little urgency to end the current government shutdown after a last minute round of negotiations ended Friday night without a deal.

Congressional aides say if a compromise doesn’t happen in the next 24 hours, it’s likely Congress won’t reach a deal until the New Year, when Democrats take over the House and Nancy Pelosi is elected speaker.

President Trump and his conservative allies have continued to publicly insist that Congress provide at least $5 billion for his border wall, as outlined in a funding bill which passed the House but then failed to even get a vote in the Senate.…
