A petition launched earlier today calling for the Impeachment of Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, which has a goal of a half of million signatures has reach over 50k signatures, just hours after it’s release.
Almost immediately following her inauguration the freshman Representative from Minnesota has had many significant controversies.
Just months ago local Minnesota stations launched an investigation into allegations that Omar married her own brother to skirt immigration laws.
According to OANN News, Questions were raised in February regarding freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s former marriage, which she tried to keep quiet when she ran for office. Classmates and local press are now saying there may have been more to the relationship than matrimony. One America’s Jack Posobiec explains.
Following those stunning questions Omar has been at the center of multiple Anti-Semitic remarks which she has yet to apologize for. Many of the remarks target members of the Jewish community.
Liz Wheeler shares a growing list Omar’s more powerful anti-Semitic statements.
Most recently Rep. Omar downplayed the horrific 9/11 terrorist attacks equating the second largest loss of life on US soil; second only to Pearl Harbor, to some people doing something.
A comment that received significant backlash from many sides.
As reported by ILMF, According to embattled Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN), CAIR started as a result of the terror attacks on 9/11.
To the Minnesota Congresswoman, “some people did something” on September 11, 2001.
What she failed to mention who those people were and what they believed in, AND that nearly 3,000 people were murdered because of those people.
Now following the significant backlash a new petition calling for Omar’s Impeachment has exploded with support.
The petition states in part:
Rep. Ilhan Omar has not only spewed Anti-Semitic remarks on a monthly basis, but she has also downplayed the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001.
The results of this petition will be sent DAILY to the leaders of the House and Senate.
