If you remember the 2016 presidential race, you will likely agree that it was better than any sitcom. Now, President Trump encouraged “Crooked Hillary Clinton” to enter the 2020 presidential election — but with a caveat. Imagine a replay of the past election.
“I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren,” the president said in a tweet about his perennial foe and the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee. “Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting ‘C’ Subpoena!” he added.

A Rasmussen poll released Monday found that Trump and the former secretary of state would be “dead even” in a 2020 rematch — with each candidate receiving 45 percent of the vote, with the rest of potential voters remaining undecided.
“Some have speculated that if Joe Biden falters in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton will jump in,” the polling company said. [RELATED: Devin Nunes Reveals That The Deep State ‘Knowingly Changed’ Whistleblower Protocol]
“But even most Democrats don’t want her to enter to get into the race,” it added.
Just 18 percent think Clinton should enter the race, according to Rasmussen, while 71 percent don’t think she should run and the rest are unsure.
“Among her fellow Democrats, 48 percent see a Clinton nomination as likely, 46 percent as unlikely. This includes 17 percent who say it’s Very Likely and 20 percent who consider it Not At All Likely,” it added.

“It’s a witch hunt,” Clinton said in response to the probe. “And it’s a real one, unlike the kind of things that Trump talks about.”
